Greg Bobos

Greg comes to Nashville from Dayton, OH where he was the morning meteorologist at ABC22/FOX45.

While in Dayton, he covered many severe weather events including the devastating Memorial Day tornado outbreak this past spring that saw more than a dozen tornadoes tear through the Dayton area overnight. Prior to Dayton, Greg also held morning meteorologist positions in South Bend, IN and Rockford, IL.

During his time in Rockford, he was privileged to be a part of a large assembly style school program called Project: Tornado which he then launched in South Bend and Dayton. Over the course of the past 8 years, Greg has helped teach over 40,000 students about the dangers of severe weather and about how they and their families can be better prepared for the next big storm. Greg cannot wait to become a member of the community here in Middle Tennessee, connecting with all of you is one of his favorite parts of this job!

Greg was born and raised in Northwest Indiana, not too far from Chicago. He is an Indiana University graduate, so during basketball season it is Hoosiers all the way! Baseball is the sport he is most passionate about, he has been a life-long, die-hard White Sox fan. Greg and his dog Obi are thrilled to call Music City home!
