Nashville Sounds searching for "Hometown Hero" nominations


NASHVILLE, Tenn.--The Nashville Sounds Baseball Club is accepting nominations for their "Hometown Hero" program where service men and women, veterans, and first responders will be honored during weekend games.

The organization is searching for current or former; paramedics, emergency medical techs, police officers, firefighters, members of the armed forces, and coast guard.

CLICK HERE to nominate someone. Winners will be recognized at all Saturday and Sunday home games at First Tennessee Park for the 2018 season.

In addition to recognition on the guitar scoreboard, selected heroes will receive complimentary tickets to a game, a $50 Puckett's gift card, and swag.

Military discounts are already offered for families every Sunday-Wednesday game at the park as well as $2 discount on single-game ticket prices for Reserved section seats.

Opening Day is Thursday, April 5th.
