Judge rules Dish Network violated laws by calling people on 'Do Not Call' registry (MGN Online)
WASHINGTON (ABC7) —
You may soon be over $1,000 richer if you received a call from Dish Network nearly eight years ago.
According to KTRK-TV, a judge recently ruled that Dish Network violated consumer protection laws in 2010 and 2011 when they called nearly 18,000 people on the "Do Not Call" registry.
A class-action lawsuit has been filed that will pay up to $1,200 to those who were called.
