Surgeon General shares personal impact from opioids, launches digital postcard
The U.S. Surgeon General says one way to battle the ongoing opioid addiction crisis is to talk with family and friends about it.
Speaking on FOX News Thursday, Jerome M. Adams says his own family has faced dealing with the impact opioids can have on a family. "My own brother is in prison right now because of crimes he committed to support his addiction. If this can happen to the surgeon general of the United States it can happen to anyone."
Adams and his office have released a digital postcard for people to read and share to help talk about opioid addiction.
