Dozens brave snow in New York for free Chick-Fil-A
CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. —
Dozens of people braced a snowstorm to get Chick-Fil-A at a new upstate New York location.
It's a Chick-Fil-A tradition to give free food to people camping out for a new location's grand opening.
And in Cheektowaga, NY, dozens of people are already lining up to participate, despite the frigid winter weather.
The first one hundred guests in line for an opening receive a year's worth of chicken sandwiches -- Or, more specifically, coupons for one free sandwich every week for a year.
But the temperatures are so cold, Chick-Fil-A isn't going to make people camp out all night.
The lucky 100 winners will be picked Wednesday evening instead of Thursday morning.
