A juvenile is in custody after the Williamson County Sheriff's Office said they posted a threat on social media.

The sheriff's office said Monday morning there is no threat to Centennial High School or Independence High School. A juvenile has been taken into custody.

Franklin Police said this is a separate incident from the threat toward "CHS," later confirmed to be intended for Clovis High School in New Mexico. A student in Clovis, New Mexico was arrested in that threat, which also made its way to the midstate.

In Montgomery County, "CHS" was mistaken for Clarksville High School by several concerned citizens.

“We appreciate the vigilance of our citizens and take every potential threat to the safety of our schools seriously,” said Sheriff John Fuson. “We will continue to aggressively investigate every threat to ensure the safety of our schools.”

To "help alleviate concerns," extra security was slated to be on hand at Clarksville High School on Monday.
