Vehicle with child inside stolen from north Nashville

Vehicle stolen with child inside (WZTV).

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Suspects are being sought after a vehicle is stolen in north Nashville tonight with a child inside.

A white Hyandai Elantra was stolen from the Citgo station, 3050 Brick Church Pike, with a two-year-old female inside, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department. The child was located safely just before 6:30 p.m. on the 1000 block of Pennock Avenue where she was reunited with her mother.

The Elantra has not been found, but the stolen blue Nissan sedan the suspects drove to the Citgo in, was recovered on the 1100 block of Pennock Ave, say police.

Surveillance video from the Citgo shows the suspects to be two male black suspects and a white female. Police say there may possibly be a fourth suspect.
