NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Vanderbilt University Medical Center is looking to hire more nurses amid the coronavirus pandemic.
VUMC said its preparing for rapidly changing needs due to COVID-19, and part of that is increasing its nurse workforce.
VUMC said its seeking nurses, or referrals for nurses, who would be willing to serve temporarily in clinical roles. The hospital is looking for anyone ranging from non-licensed students to licensed registered nurses to fill certain services.
Nurses, or nursing students, can expect about 6 to 8 weeks of paid positions, up to permanent employment.

This comes at VUMC deals with COVID-19 cases of its own, up to 86 positive cases so far.
