    RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Tenn.--Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the individual responsible for vandalizing a Confederate monument on Tuesday.

    Police say the vandal spray painted the words "murderer," "coward," and "Ft. Pillow" on the Johnny Rebel Confederate monument on the downtown square in Rutherford County.

    The attached photo shows the suspect vehicle, a dark-colored compact to mid-size vehicle. The suspect was wearing a coat and scarf before approaching the statue around 10:21 Tuesday night.
