Two teens arrested in Nashville carjacking
NASHVILLE, Tenn.--Metro Nashville Police have charged two 15-year-old men with aggravated robbery for the carjacking of a woman Thursday night.
Police say the woman was robbed of her Honda Accord at gunpoint Thursday night on Longfellow Drive. Police spotted the car on Brick Church Pike but the driver refused to stop.
A police helicopter also followed from the air and teens Joseph Robins and Hermes Smith bailed from the car. Following a brief foot chase, Robins was captured by officers and Smith by a K9 officer.
Detectives are working to identify and capture the third juvenile.
Police say since February 16th, 130 juveniles have been charged with 82 felonies and 176 misdemeanors.
