UPDATE: Two dead after vehicle crash in Trigg County, Kentucky

CADIZ, Ky. -- A deadly vehicle crash is under investigation in Trigg County, Kentucky.

Two people are dead after an accident occurred on US 68/80 near Commerce Street at around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, according to the Trigg County Coroner's Office.

The Kentucky State Police say a vehicle driven by 62-year-old Roger Marlow, of Cadiz, going westbound, for unknown reasons left the roadway and crossed the median hitting a vehicle going east, driven by 31-year-old Patrick Maillet of Clarksville. Marlow died at the scene. Maillet died from his injuries at the hospital.

Neither men were wearing seat belts at the time.

Numerous departments responded to the scene of the accident.
