NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — The TSA is having a hiring event for the Nashville airport amid a government shutdown.
Friday marks 21 days of the shutdown, which ties with the longest-ever on record. Friday is also the first day about 800,000 federal workers won't receive a paycheck, according to CNN.
According to a news release from TSA, a "Fast Track" hiring event to recruit full and part-time is being held at the Sheraton Music City Hotel.
It's slated for Saturday. Sessions run from two to four hours, starting at 9 a.m. and going to 3 p.m.
