A tractor trailer driver is arrested after threatening to blow up a Nashville gas station multiple times.

James Dwayne Williams, 52, is charged with false report, incident or offense.

Metro Police arrived on scene at Tiger Mart along Brick Church Pike late Tuesday night at the request of the Nashville Fire Department regarding an "unruly subject."

Williams had apparently called police dispatchers, advising he was going to "blow the place up," a statement he repeated to responding officers.

"You guys took forever to get here, just like they took forever to get downtown, so I'm going to blow the place up," Williams told police, according to an affidavit.

Williams stated he was driving a tractor trailer parked near the gas station. Metro Police's Hazardous Device Unit was notified and a K-9 responded to check for explosives, but none were found.

Williams is being held on a $75,000 bond.
