Three people identified after $60K purse theft in Nashville, multi-county police chase

Metro Nashville Police arrested three people involved in a $60,000 purse theft that prompted a multi-county police chase on Thursday.

Rodney Albritton, 23, of Vallejo, CA, Damon Page, 21, of San Francisco, CA, & Bianca Woodson, 27, of San Francisco are accused of stealing thousands of dollars worth of purses from the Nordstrom store in Green Hills.

Police said the group drove a rented van as a getaway car and led police on a chase. Officers deployed spike strips on Highway 100 and 840 in Williamson County, causing the van to crash.

Woodson bailed from the van in Hurricane Mills but was later caught in Humphreys County.

The MNPD said Page was wanted on an outstanding felony warrant in California. Officers from Williamson, Humphreys, Dickson and Hickman Counties, the Tennessee Highway Patrol and the Fairview Police Department helped take these suspects into custody.
