THP involved in high-speed pursuit in Nashville
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) -- Tennessee Highway Patrol was involved in a high-speed pursuit of a stolen vehicle in Nashville late Wednesday night.
THP pursued a stolen vehicle on Dickerson Road, the pursuit went west bound on Briley Parkway where speeds were more than 90 miles per hour around 10:30 p.m.
Metro police were instructed not to actively join due to the nature of what the suspect was wanted for, but did help by blocking intersections, deploying spikes and then proceeded to the termination point to help apprehend the suspects.
The vehicle was pursued throughout Davidson County but ultimately pulled over at the Shell gas station at Trousdale Drive and Harding Place.
Metro police assisted in taking the suspects into custody, the charges the suspects face are unknown at this time.
