NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) --State Rep. Diane Black of Gallatin says frustration over a lack of progress in the Senate could be the reason behind the feud between President Trump and Senator Bob Corker.

Black says she wants to see common sense cuts and has proposed her own budget bill after watching a dozen others go to the Senate without even seeing a vote.

Those frustrations over a lack of progress is what Black says could be responsible for the Twitter war between Trump and Corker. Black says the two should not be airing their dirty laundry in the public.

"I think there is a sense of frustration, I hear it from the people at home and I want them to know we are getting our work done here in the House and we want the Senate to do the same thing," Black says.
