GALLATIN, Tenn. -- The Sumner County mayor is not happy with a rehabilitation facility in Gallatin after a coronavirus outbreak.

It was announced Sunday that a second person living at the Gallatin Center for Rehabilitation & Healing has died from COVID-19. Also, about 130 people, patients and staff, have tested positive for the virus.

More than 50 ambulances spent much of the day transporting many of the 59 new patients who today tested positive to Sumner Regional Medical Center.

"Let's be honest, there has been some miscommunication from that facility...this hasn't turned out real well. So their response has not been adequate," said Sumner County Mayor Anthony Holt.
