NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — The historic Sullivan Tower in The Gulch was imploded Saturday morning.
The building, located at 9th Avenue North and Commerce Street, came down at 8:30 a.m. CST.
Roads in the area were closed for safety precautions and will remain closed for 30 to 40 minutes after implosion.
This is just the next phase in the ever-changing face of Nashville. In January, the Lifeway Tower was imploded in just under 10 seconds.
