Tennessee Lt. Governor McNally's Instagram account commented on man's photos
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — The verified Instagram account belonging to Tennessee Lt. Governor Randy McNally has been posting comments on suggestive photos posted by another male user.
The posts which have been viewed and recorded by FOX 17 News, largely depict the account holder posing in his underwear. On one post, the verified account of Lt. Gov. McNally states "Super look [user name]."
Another comment from the Lt. Governor account states "Hi Sunshine!," while another depicting the user walking on a ramp in only his boxers states "I love it" with heart emojis.
On one post, showing the user's buttocks in underwear from a ground view, the verified Lt. Gov. McNally account posted "[user name], you can turn a rainy day into rainbows and sunshine."
FOX 17 News reached out to McNally's office for comment. Communications Director Adam Kleinheider issued FOX 17 News the following statement:
“Trying to imply something sinister or inappropriate about a great-grandfather’s use of social media says more about the mind of the left-wing operative making the implication than it does about Randy McNally. As anyone in Tennessee politics knows, Lt. Governor McNally is a prolific social media commenter. He takes great pains to view every post he can and frequently posts encouraging things to many of his followers. Does he always use the proper emoji at the proper time? Maybe not. But he enjoys interacting with constituents and Tennesseans of all religions, backgrounds and orientations on social media. He has no intention of stopping."
