Stewart County traffic stop leads to drug bust
Stewart County — A routine traffic stop ends in a large drug bust Monday afternoon in Stewart County.
Stewart County Sheriff’s Office says K-9 Deputy Shane Keatts stopped a vehicle on Hwy. 79 Monday afternoon. Deputy Keatts spoke with the driver and determined there was probable cause to search the vehicle.
While searching, he came across a bag of marijuana and 200 hits of LSD.
Deputy Keatts was able to quickly identify the drug as he had seen LSD on the street in the same design in the past.
Keatts arrested the driver, Brianna Deel, who is charged with two counts of possession with intent to sell, driving uninsured and illegal window tint.
The Stewart County Sheriff’s Office says "Another great job for keeping this out of our county," thanking Deputy Keatts.
