NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Bales of marijuana are discovered in luggage coming from San Francisco into Nashville International Airport.

K-9 Havoc alerted Nashville Airport Police officers to possible narcotics coming from two bags at BNA on Monday. Police made contact with 26-year-old Jullian Gioffre, whose name was on the luggage tags.

Gioffre was identified as the owner through his California driver's license. Police say he gave consent for them to check the bags, but the luggage was locked and he reportedly didn't have the key.

TSA received clearance to open the bags, where two bales of marijuana weighing approximately 87 lbs. were found. Thirty-four grams of THC gummies were additionally found in Gioffre's backpack.

BNA CEO and President Doug Kreulen responded to the arrest...
