NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — A woman had some scary moments on Thursday when a rock thrown from an overpass in Nashville came smashing threw her windshield.
Judy Bass says she was traveling on Interstate 40 Eastbound around 7:50 a.m. when she saw two males standing above on the Jefferson Street overpass.
Then, she saw one of the males throwing a large rock in her direction. That rock struck her windshield on the passenger side.
Luckily, Bass wasn't hurt, but is shaken. She called 911 and Metro Police continue to investigate.
This isn't the first time something like this has happened in middle Tennessee. One family is still trying to make changes after their loved one was killed by a thrown rock in Mt. Juliet.
