The University of Tennessee Athletic Director met with Oklahoma State's Mike Gundy on Tuesday according to sources who told ESPN's Chris Low.

Those sources told Low that Gundy and John Currie met 'for several hours' to gauge Gundy's interest in coaching Tennessee's football team. According to ESPN, Gundy met with Tennessee officials back in 2013 when the Volunteers hired Butch Jones.

UT leaders scrapped a deal with Ohio State Defensive Coordinator Greg Schiano after public outcry over the weekend.
