RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Tenn. (WZTV) — The son of reality stars Todd and Julie Chrisley was arrested Tuesday in Rutherford County, FOX 17 News has confirmed.
Police report 32-year-old Kyle Chrisley was arrested by Smyrna Police for aggravated assault.
According to the arrest warrant, Chrisley is accused of "striking" his employer at Penske Truck Rental "multiple times in the face and upper body." Chrisley allegedly brought out a "fixed blade" and threated to kill and stab the victim, the warrant said.
However, a spokesperson for the Town of Smyrna said Wednesday that "Kyle Chrisley does not work for Penske but was involved in an incident reported at East Enon Springs Road."
The victim sustained injuries to his head, neck, and hand—which were reportedly observed by arresting officers.
Chrisley was taken into custody in Rutherford County and has since been released on bond.
This comes after his parents began their time in prison two months ago. The Chrisleys committed fraud involving $30 million, according to FOX News. Todd is facing 12 years in prison, while Julie is facing seven, says the news outlet.
