A tornado touched down in Bedford County on Wednesday.

Rising Star Ranch, located along Sneed Road in Shelbyville, posted the video on its Facebook page showing the possible tornado about 4:30 p.m.

David Williams also sent Fox 17 News photos of storm damage, which included uprooted trees.

The National Weather Service surveyed the area Thursday and confirmed an EF-1 tornado touched down.

NWS said the tornado was anticyclonic. meaning it turned clockwise which is very uncommon. The NWS said it will investigate the damage further because the tornado was so rare in it's motion and damage path.

The ranch said a horse was born right after the tornado ripped through.
