POLICE: Woman in Nashville for bachelorette party drunkenly trashes Airbnb home
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — A woman visiting Nashville told police she "went psycho" after drinking two bottles of wine, and her Airbnb was left in shambles in the aftermath.
Metro Police say they were called to a home on Cocoa Drive at 3 p.m. Thursday for a possible break-in. They found 29-year-old Alexandra Cheety sitting on the front steps of a Cocoa Drive home, her right foot covered in blood. The rest of the home, according to police, was in "total disarray."
Police said it was clear someone kicked out the windows of the Airbnb home — explaining Cheety's bloody foot. A lamp, chair and two sets of blinds were damaged. Furniture was strewn about the home and coffee table was flipped upside down.
Cheety told police she couldn't explain what happened. She was staying at the Airbnb with friends and family in town for a bachelorette party, but at some point, Cheety allegedly drank too much and trashed the house. She just wasn't sure why.
Cheety was taken to Skyline Medical Center to treat her bloody foot. She was charged with vandalism.
