Police ask for help identifying East Nashville Family Dollar gunman

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--Metro Nashville Police are asking for assistance identifying a gunman who robbed an East Nashville Family Dollar store on Wednesday.

Police say the suspect (pictured), entered the 1000 Woodland Street store and demanded money from the register. The suspect fled with cash and could be connected to other robberies in the area.

He is described as a black male, 25-30 years of age, approximately 6 feet tall and 170 pounds.

Anyone with information on his identity is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward. You can also text the word "CASH" along with your tip to 274637.
