An 18-year-old was arrested after Metro Police say he pointed a gun at a Nashville driver on Broadway and motioned for him to pull over Wednesday afternoon.

Christopher Works, III, 18, is charged with felony aggravated assault and having two loaded pistols, one believed by police to be stolen from Hermitage.

The 54-year-old victim reported that a maroon Mustang pulled up beside him on Broadway at 14th Avenue and the driver, identified as Works, pointed a pistol at him and motioned for him to pull over. The victim called police instead and gave investigators the Mustang's description and license plate number.

Undercover officers quickly spotted the car traveling on I-65 at I-440 and pulled Works over. He reportedly refused to be interviewed by police.

Works also faces charges with contributing to the delinquency of a minor for having a 17-year-old with him in the car at the time of the incident. The teen is charged with unlawful gun possession.
