THOMPSON'S STATION, Tenn. — An accident involving an overturned tractor trailer has shut down I-840 West between Natchez Trace and Carter's Creek Pike.
It happened about 5:45 a.m. Tuesday.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the trailer was hauling a load of plywood. THP said the semi ran off the road, hit the median and over-corrected, causing the load to shift.
There are no injuries.
The roadway is not expected to reopen until 8:45 a.m.
