
UPDATE: Metro Police are investigating a self-defense claim after a 49-year-old man was shot to death Tuesday morning.
Police sayZion Lacy, 20, is accused of shootingDontrell Booker inside a home on Sycamore Road.
"[Lacy] lives in the home with his mother," police said in a press release. "Booker, Lacy’s mother’s boyfriend, allegedly got into an altercation with Lacy prior to the shooting."
Police say the investigation shows Booker shot Lacy before Lacy retrieved a second firearm and returned fire. Booker died at the scene.
Lacy was taken to the hospital with injuries that aren't life threatening.
No charges have yet been placed. Metro Police are continuing their investigation.

Nashville, Tenn. (WZTV) -- One person is dead and another is hurt after an early morning shooting near GEODIS Park.
The shooting happened just before 3:30 a.m. on the 1200 block of Sycamore Road.
Metro Nashville Police say that both men who were shot lived in the house. A 49-year-old man is now dead and a 20 year old is hurt and in the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say they don't know the exact circumstances of what happened but they do not believe that there was a third shooter involved in the incident.
