One dead after dump truck driver crashes into pedestrians changing tire
LEWISBURG, Tenn.--The Lewisburg Police Department says a dump truck driver was involved in a crash on Wednesday which struck three pedestrians, killing one.
Police say a Division 2 dump truck driver was driving east on Mooresville Highway when the driver veered off the road and struck three pedestrians helping a motorist change a flat tire.
A man identified as John Barlow died from his injuries. The two other pedestrians have been identified as Michael Feagin and Roberto Garcia. Police say Feagin was transported to VUMC and Garcia was not injured. The investigation is ongoing.
