NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Nashville's 4th of July celebration will have Country Music Association (CMA) and Academy of Country Music Awards (ACM) "Group of the Year" Old Dominion headline for this year's 2022 lineup of "Let Freedom Sing!"
The 2022 lineup for the spectacular event was announced in March featuring artists including Grammy award-winning reggae artist Gramps Morgan, Cassadee Pope and Levi Hummon.
The fireworks show will take place at the downtown riverfront stage, Ascend Amphitheater, after the concert. This year's fireworks celebration will include the biggest fireworks show in the city’s history along with a live performance from the Grammy award-winner Nashville Symphony.
As always, the concert and fireworks are free and open to everyone. The main stage for this year's celebration, Jack Daniel’s Broadway Stage, will be set up at First and Broadway.
This family-friendly event will offer a free Amazon Family Fun Zone open on Sunday, July 3 and Monday, July 4. The family fun zone will be open on Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. and Monday from noon to 5 p.m. with inflatables and live music!
A whopping total of 16 Nashville-based artists will be featured on the Jack Daniel's Stage and at the Amazon Family Fun Zone at Music City Walk of Fame Park over the two-day celebration.

“The Nashville 4th of July is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together and to draw in visitors to our city from around the world,” said Courtney Ross, Amazon’s Senior Manager of Community Engagement. “We are delighted to contribute to the programming of this year’s celebration with the Amazon Family Fun Zone, which will feature family-friendly activities and great performances from incredible local artists.”
Kelly Sutton will host both stages at this year's event and Wendy Moten of The Voice fame will sing the national anthem. You can expect Coach (DJ) to entertain between sets as well.
Let Freedom Sing! Music City July 4th presented by Dr Pepper is produced by the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp for the city of Nashville. This year's Independence Day bash will be the 19th annual celebration produced by the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp and the 38th in the city.
The annual event has regularly seen more than 200,000 attendees, but last year's hoorah saw a record-breaking crowd of 350,000 people.
