NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who threatened another man at gunpoint earlier this month.
The victim was sitting in his car joking around with a friend in the parking lot of Sherwin Williams on 8th Avenue when the suspect drove up to them, Metro Police report.
The suspect confronted the two men saying, “You think this is funny? You want to die?” as he waved a pistol at them. The suspect then drove off in his pickup truck, which has been described as a newer model silver Silverado.
Midtown Hills Precinct Detectives are now looking for this man, and asking for the public’s help. The suspect has been described as a Hispanic male who appears to be 30-35 years of age. He is approximately 5’8” and weighs around 140 pounds. He has black hair with a fade haircut and a goatee.
The incident took place on May 9. Anyone with information on the gunman is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.
