Nashville restaurant offering free food to federal workers on Thursday
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) —
A popular Nashville restaurant is offering free food to furloughed federal workers on Thursday.
M.L. Rose, known for its burgers and waffle fries, is setting up a food truck at 4th Ave & Deaderick Street Downtown.
The first 100 federal workers who present their ID will receive a free cheeseburger and waffle fries. Those after the first 100 will still get a good deal with just $5 for a cheeseburger and fries.
The food truck will set up shop as part of "Street Eats," where up to 20 food truck line up at 4th Avenue and Deaderick Street in downtown Nashville every Thursday.
The food truck will be on location from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
