Woman killed after shooting along Dickerson Pike identified

UPDATE:

Metro Police said a woman has died following a shooting in the Talbot's Corner area of Nashville Friday night and the gunman is still at large.

The shooting happened at Dickerson Pike and Broadmoor Drive at about 8:45 p.m. Police said the woman was shot in the neck after an altercation with the man at the liquor store.

The woman, identified as 32-year-old Jacqueline Johnson, was transported to Skyline Medical Center where she died after a lengthy surgery.

The gunman is described as a black man, in his early 30s, who stands 5' 8" tall and weighs about 165 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a multicolored shirt. Police said the gunman was a passenger in a newer model black four-door sedan with tinted windows that fled eastbound on Broadmoor from Dickerson.

Surveillance video captured images of the suspect.

Metro Police are responding to a shooting in the Talbot's Corner area of Nashville.

It happened at Dickerson Pike and Broadmoor Drive at about 8:45 p.m. Friday. It happened near Discount Liquors and Joy Land Beauty Supply in a shopping area.

One victim has been taken to Skyline Medical Center with a gunshot wound.

This is at least the second shooting of the night that Metro Police are investigating. Two people were shot and transported in East Nashville earlier in the evening.
