MNPD: Officers searching for suspect who shot at undercover police
UPDATE (9:30 a.m.) - Metro Police have provided more information on the shooting Friday morning.
A spokesperson for the department says detectives were conducting surveillance on a suspicious vehicle in the Pheasant Drive area. When the vehicle pulled into a residence on Pheasant Drive, police say two people exited the vehicle and one person fired shots at the undercover police unit.
The police vehicle was struck one time, but no officers were hit. Officers did not return fire.
An investigation remains underway.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) - FOX 17 News is in Bordeaux where police are searching for a suspect they say fired shots at officers.
A Personnel in Danger call was sent out at 3 a.m. Friday morning. MNPD says that officers in Bordeaux say they were shot at by a suspect near Pheasant Dr and Dove Pl.
Officers shared that two detectives were shot at while inside an unmarked police car. There are bullet holes in the unmarked vehicle but the detectives were not hurt.
Currently MNPD hasn't provided a suspect description but they are searching the Bordeaux area.
