A freshly minted group of WeGo mechanic apprentices were celebrated Thursday in Nashville in a special signing ceremony.

The WeGo Apprenticeship program allows those who would like to be mechanic someday train for free.

The goal is for the apprentices to one day become true WeGo mechanics.

Apprentices must be 18 and older, turn in a resume, take a mechanic aptitude test, and finish an interview process.

The program includes a full-time salary and benefits including health insurance.
