NASHVILLE, Tenn.--A traffic violation led to a huge bust by the Tennessee Highway Patrol last week, resulting in the seizure of 68 pounds of cocaine.
The THP says the traffic stop took place on February 13 on I-40 in Henderson County.
Driver Camilo Gonzalez expressed "several signs of deception and stress," leading to troopers asking for consent to search the vehicle. Troopers searched the vehicle and found 31 kilos of cocaine -61 pounds- inside the vehicle's door panels.
The 53-year-old Miami, Florida resident was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine for resale and booked into the Henderson County Jail.
