Woman reported missing in Nashville found, receiving medical treatment
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) —
UPDATE: A woman missing in Nashville has been found and receiving medical treatment.
Tiffany Faith Link was reported missing by her father, Tim Groves, after she wasn't anywhere to be found when he went to pick her up from Riverfront Park in Nashville.
Groves said Saturday that Tiffany has since been found and is receiving treatment at TriStar Medical Campus in Madison.
Metro Police are investigating the disappearance of a woman who was last seen at the Nashville Riverfront Park.
Tiffany Faith Link, 36, was last seen by her father on Monday evening. She was homeless at the time of her disappearance and suffers from bipolar disorder. Link also has a history of drug and alcohol abuse, according to Metro Police.
Tim Groves, Link's father, said she is originally from Hendersonville. Link has been in and out of rehab. Recently, Link was at Mirror Lake Recovery in Burns, Tennessee. Groves said Link wanted to leave the facility six days before her treatment was due, and walked away from the facility.
Groves said he was trying to get Link into another rehab facility at the time of her disappearance and had a doctor's appointment scheduled on Tuesday, but when Groves went to pick Link up from the Riverfront Park, she was nowhere to be found.
Groves filed a missing persons report with the Metro Nashville Police Department on Wednesday. Metro Police say they are investigating Link's disappearance.
Link was staying at the Riverfront Park because that's where she wanted to stay, according to Groves.
Anyone who sees Link or knows her whereabouts should call police.
