Metro Nashville Police searching for carjacking suspects

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--Metro Nashville Police are asking for help identifying two men accused of carjacking an Antioch resident.

Police say the victim had just parked his 2015 Kia Optima near his Hickory Hollow Place apartment when he was approached and held at gunpoint by one of the men.

The victim handed over his belongings to the gunman, who entered the passenger side while the second suspect drove.

The vehicle is equipped with a dash camera that was able to record the suspects.

The vehicle is burgundy in color and has a large dent on the passenger side door. There are also Lyft/Uber stickers on the passenger side windshield.

The Optima has Tennessee tag W5481X.

Anyone who spots the vehicle or can identify the suspects is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers can qualify for a cash reward.
