Massive listeria recall affects vegetables sold in several grocery stores

As of October 19, a recall has been issued for Mann Packing vegetables products in several grocery stores across the United States and Canada.

According to the FDA, the products may be contaminated with listeria. During random sampling by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, a positive listeria result was found in one of the products. The recall was issued for caution and health officials haven't reported any illnesses associated with the products.

The stores affected include Trader Joe's, Walmart, Aldi, and Safeway/Albertson's. The products recalled has "best if used by" dates from October 11 to October 20.

Mann packaging will contact all affected customers to notify of the recall. Anyone who has purchased recalled products is urged not to consume and to return for a full refund.
