Man struck, killed by train in Nashville identified
NASHVILLE, Tenn.--Metro Nashville Police have identified the man struck and killed by a train on Friday.
Police say 52-year-old Donald Wayne Harvill Jr. was identified as the victim through fingerprints.
Police say it appears Harvill was sitting on the tracks around 3:20 Friday morning when he failed to acknowledge several bursts of the oncoming train's horn.
He was struck and killed on the tracks between Old Dry Creek Road and the 1 Mile Parkway overpass.
