Man faces attempted murder charge in Lebanon shooting

A man on parole for narcotic related charges has been arrested for allegedly shooting another man in Lebanon.

James Waters, 32, of Lebanon was charged in the Dec. 3 shooting of Ali Oldham, 43.

Police said it happened along Hobbs Avenue. Oldham was transported to Tennova Hospital, where he remains and is expected to recover.

Waters was arrested on Tuesday with help from the Tennessee Parole Board. He's currently jailed in Wilson County on a $60,000 bond.
