Man fires several shots into air on Broadway Saturday

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — On Saturday the Metro Nashville Police Department arrested a man accused of firing several shots into the air on Broadway.

Officers arrived to find Jonston Son being held back by security guards on 4th Avenue and Broadway. Witnesses at the location said that Son was involved in a fight with several people when he pulled out a gun and fired it several times into the air.

One witness said that she feared for her life when she saw Son with the gun.

Officers who searched Son found that he had a Glock in his possession along with a small amount of a powdery white substance.

Son was taken into custody, charged with reckless endangerment and possession, and has since been released.
