Man buys 160-year-old Civil War-era live explosive for $3, thinking it was cannonball

DEC. 2, 2022 - After John Miller, of Asheville, purchased what he thought was a cannonball artifact for $3 from a local scrap yard on Nov. 28, he soon realized it might be some sort of explosive and called Asheville Police Department's Bomb Squad to investigate.
