Man accidentally shoots himself in Bellevue

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Metro Police responded to an accidental shooting at the Waterford Place Apartments on Waterford Circle just after midnight.

According to police, the 27-year-old man stated that he mistakenly shot himself in the thigh with his pistol.

The victim was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for his injuries.

The victim's roommate was present at the time of the shooting and was interviewed by police.
