Logan County man flown to Nashville for crash injuries, pronounced dead

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) -- A Logan County man was flown to Nashville with serious injuries after a crash in Logan County over the weekend, he was pronounced dead on Thursday.

Cody Bilbey, 26, was involved in a single-vehicle crash on Saturday night around 11:15 p.m. on the 2000 block of Old Greenville Road, according to WKDZ.

The vehicle ran off the road, hit an earth embankment causing the car to flip. William Collins, 74, of Russellville was in the passenger seat and was entrapped from the crash.

Both were taken to Logan Memorial Hospital to treat their injuries. Collins was flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center were he died from his injuries two days later.
