New buildings going up in Nashville.

It comes as no surprise to Nashvillians that the city is growing.

Cranes congest downtown areas as new buildings are going up every day.

It may seem like it's all hotels and condos, but FOX 17 News is highlighting a few buildings that residents are paying for with tax dollars -- totaling $634 million.


New Nashville Criminal Justice Center

  • Cost: $113 Million Dollars
  • Completion Date: 2020

New Federal Courthouse

  • Cost: $194 Million
  • Completion Date: 2021

New Nashville Family Justice Center

  • Cost: $44 Million
  • Completion Date: Summer 2018
