NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Looking ahead to one of the biggest holiday events in Nashville.
New details were released today for the 66th annual Nashville Christmas Parade.
This year's parade is slated for Dec. 7. The parade will kick off at 8:30 a.m. at the corner of North 1st Avenue and Brandon Street.
This year, along with an array of holiday floats, festive parade characters and Santa Claus, performances will include Ana Cristina Cash, Tennessee Titans cheerleaders and the cast of the Broadway show, Aladdin.
Plus. two-time cancer survivor Lily Hensiek will be honored as this year's Hometown Hero.
Piedmont Natural Gas and MTA is also leading the Christmas parade express to help families attend from outside Nashville.
All proceeds benefit the Monroe Carrell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.
