Infants' Ibuprofen sold at Walmart, CVS, Family Dollar recalled

Ibuprofen Recall

Tris Pharma, Inc. has recalled three lots of their Infants' Ibuprofen sold at retailers across the country due to the medication having potentially higher concentrations of ibuprofen than stated.

According to the recall, there is a remote possibility infants who are susceptible to a higher potency of the drug could be vulnerable to permanent kidney injury.

Nausea, vomiting, gastric pain and diarrhea are possible. Gastrointestinal bleeding, and Tinnitus are other possible side effects.

No injuries have yet been reported in connection to the products but the recall is being issued out of caution.

The products were sold at Walmart, CVS, and Family Dollar stores.
